Liz grew up on Long Island, where as a child in Amityville her love of quick puns, silly gags and curiosity about the theater was fostered by watching The (original) Muppet Show, which she still believes may be the greatest work ever produced. It was intriguing to see backstage as a place people, or in that case faux fur and felt creatures, went to work to "put on a show" every week.
Liz earned her BFA from Syracuse University and then continued her studies in NYC at the William Esper Studio, where she completed the 2-year Meisner acting program and master class.
In 2009, she won the 'MetroStar Talent Challenge' at the Metropolitan Room, which afforded her the opportunity to do her own show , 'Tarnished,' for which she subsequently won the 2011 Nightlife, Bistro and MAC Awards.
She's happily lucky to be a part of 'Iconis and Family;' a group of actors who frequently collaborate with and perform the various works of writer/composer Joe Iconis in and around NYC and LA.
Liz is a proud founding member of the Musical Theatre Factory, headed by Shakina Nayfack, and also works in voiceover, where she may have encouraged you to buy dairy in Texas, go to school in Connecticut, or trust in the care of a hospital in Brooklyn, among other things.
